Life is Love
The Book Signing Ceremony of “Life is Love” poetry book was held on Friday 29th of February 2008, at the auditorium of Haigazian University – Beirut .

“Life is Love” is a poetry collection by Zahi Sahli, a young poet who first wrote poetry at the age of ten. “Life is Love” contains his best works. He is currently in Secondary II-Humanities Section, studying at the Lebanese Preparatory School .

An opening statement was presented by Ms.Tania Khalil. Then the book was presented by Ms. Sossi Berberian who after welcoming all, presented the book of poetry by discussing the various characteristics of the book on the outside and the inside; then she moved on to the analysis of the content from her own perspective. She mentioned that “It is noteworthy here to say that this volume of poetry allows the chance for each individual to identify with the feelings, issues, and situations mentioned, each one according to his or her experience”.
Ms. Berberian continued her statement by saying that “Zahi’s work will deeply move the reader, as it carries the innermost universal feelings shared by humans regarding love and life in general.” Finally, she closed her statement by thanking Zahi for thinking in depth about the most important aspects of life, showing appreciated human values, and willing to write and express these.

Two young friends of Zahi, Amer Alameddine and Ramzi Shehab presented pieces of music on the guitar and the piano.

Then Zahi was invited on the stage to say his word. In his words Zahi thanked all those who have guided him on the academic and personal level by encouraging him throughout youth to continue on writing.

The closing statement was by Sevag Hagopian who thanked all the presents and the participants He congratulated Zahi for writing of Life and Love in a marvelous way, in a time where writers are being forced to lay down their pens, since people are heading towards screens and keyboards, and where latters are constantly in progress marching on the funeral’s rhyme of feelings, emotions, nature, and tranquility. Mr. Hagopian wished Zahi to embark on this journey of poetry. Finally he thanked the president and the administration of Haigazian University for always hosting such events.

Mrs. Nelly Sayegh, Zahi’s school principal was invited to join Zahi cutting the cake. On this occasion, Mrs. Sayegh addressed a spontaneous word to all her old and new students saying that she is very proud of each and every one of them, and wished Zahi all the best.

Finally, Zahi signed his books and there was a cozy reception of cookies and refreshments.
